About the event
Tollymore Forest Walk - Enjoy the many trails within this vast Forest Park and magnificent views from the many vantage points along the way . The highest viewpoint is on the Drinns at 255m and offers spectacular views of the Northern Mournes, Dundrum Bay and Slieve Croob.The Forest has some 16 Bridges and 2 main rivers The Shimna and Spinkwee, which join at the Meeting of the Waters, and offer enjoyable vistas along the banks. Walking information
It is important that you choose the walk most suited to your level of fitness and experience. Warm and waterproof clothing should be carried along with sufficient food and drink. Suitable footwear and a personal First Aid kit should be carried.
Safety : The walk organisers reserve the right to cancel any walk/event at short notice if the weather is unsuitable or unforeseen circumstances.
Animal welfare : Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
It is regretted that dogs will not be permitted on grade 1 walks and cruise events.
